Version: 7.16.19
Much as I appreciate the point and purpose of BOINC, I can't forgive it screwing with MY PERMISSIONS! How the frack did it get permissions for files higher than mine as administrator? When I noticed that crap happening, I banished it from my Macs. Hopefully, it was just one nasty version of BOINC that did the dastardly deed. But I'm not going test to find out. *Use At Your Own Risk*

Alas, functioned perfectly in macOS prior to Catalina (v 10.15) but now: No functione. Alas, my favorite screen saver is unusable until suitable software correction[s] [is,are] accomplished.

Version: 7.14.2
Seems rather unstable running under macOS Mojave v. 10.14.5. Worked fine for a while, then refused to run with an error indication at every attempt. The attendant suggestion to re-install did not help. I'll keep trying, with variations of associated file deletion...

Version: 7.8.4
V 7.8.4 works with macOS 10.13.2 beta (17C79a). However, diagnostic report logs report tons of crashes, averaging about 100 daily. I want to report this to the Berkeley website but can’t find a support page to file the report. I may have to disable the screensaver for now until they come up with an updated version.

Version: 7.8.2
Version 7.8.2 doesn’t work with High Sierra beta (17A362a) either. BOINC stopped working on my Mac Pro ever since the upgrade to macOS 10.13 beta. I was hoping that the latest beta of High Sierra, being the (final?) GM candidate, would now work.
